Radio show
Steve Burke, area environmental activist, will be on the Morning Express radio show Monday morning between 7 and 8 AM, 1360 on the radio dial.

He will have current information on some aspects of the effort to have the fire put out.

Answers to questions asked last Monday
The answers to questions asked last Monday (10/4/99) are almost ready for publication. Watch for these in area newspapers this coming week. They should also be on the counties Web site in both English and Spanish.


Contacting government leaders
Contacts and points supporting the declaration of a disaster area are being prepared and should be available Monday (10/11/99) on the counties Tire Fire Web site and in the newspapers within the next few days.

Citizens will need to contact their representatives and Senators in order for the pressure to be maintained to get this fire out and to get it declared a disaster.

Information will also be available at Monday's meeting at the Patterson High School Library at 7 PM as well as the Concerned Citizens Web site at www.patterson-ca.com.
