Next Meeting: Monday The Clinic will have a county nurse for consultation. We'd like to see everyone who has experienced symptoms they think are related to the tire fire to attend. We'll have a questionnaire to fill out. It's important to record these symptoms to get the full picture to the county on the health effects of this catastrophe. See directions to location under Maps below. Breaking news: Report on CIWMB action of 11-16 Report on MELP appearance before Tire Fire Committee

Now that the fire is out, this committee of Stanislaus
County residents are committed to continue to work on making sure the site
never becomes a fire hazard again and is
cleaned up and doesn't become a hazardous waste dump
This committee is also working to provide information on air quality and
health issues. Later the committee will pursue why this disaster
was allowed to happen and will look at ways of preventing it from
happening again. |
